ABOUT THE SERIES

This book series hosts contributions that explore the legal dimension of modern Biomedicine, Biotechnology, and the innovative applications of Life Sciences in the environment. This subject, as currently expressed in the term "Biolaw", is of intense concern to both the practice of medical doctors, life scientists, and industry and the development of research, insofar as it analyses the regulatory requirements governing these activities. Areas such as clinical trials, the study of human reproduction, precision medicine, the processing of health big data, the introduction of artificial intelligence in Medicine, genetic engineering in the environment, the protection of biodiversity, sustainable agricultural production technologies, etc. are at the heart of our interest, which seeks above all to highlight original contributions from young legal and social scientists from around the world. Monographs, collections of original articles, selected doctoral theses, and conference proceedings are welcome, in our effort to attract attention to the governance, policies, and regulation of a fascinating and rapidly evolving scientific and technological field in our century.
