Online Double Book Launch of our Cheiron Journal and the latest volume in the book series " Rewriting Equestrian History"

Trivent Medieval
together with the Latvian Academy of Sports Education are pleased to announce the online joint launch of Cheiron: The International Journal of Equine and Equestrian History and the newest volume in the Rewriting Equestrian History series: The Liminal Horse: Equitation and Boundaries, co-edited by Rena Maguire and Anastasija Ropa.

The event will take place on December 9th, at 5 P.M. CET. The access link will be provided at the beginning of December.

The speakers will be as following: Anastasija Ropa and Miriam Bibby (co-editors-in-chief of Cheiron), Katherine Kanne (guest editor of the inaugural issue of Cheiron), and Rena Maguire (co-editor of the volume The Liminal Horse). Together with the contributing authors, they will come together to talk about their research and their experience in working on the journal and the book.

The launch provides a unique opportunity to meet the authors in an informal setting, ask them questions about their research, and, above all, have fun talking about historical horses as we head towards the winter celebrations (and remember that books are always the best gift for Christmas!).

The participants will also be able to purchase The Liminal Horse with a 30% discount from the publisher

Should you like to join and receive the access link to the launch, please email us at
