ABOUT THE SERIES 

This series intends to explore various aspects referring to the so-called Venetian commonwealth during the whole history of the Venetian state, thus covering the long period between a legendary year (697) and a fatal one (1797). By advancing proposals of publishing works related to the history of the Venetian state on a variety of fields (political history, social history, international relations, economic history, codicology and palaeography), this series also expects to establish a balance between what has usually been called Stato da Màr and respectively Domini di Terraferma.

The series publishes both monographs and edited texts, but also collections of studies.
